Alex Astbury FRI, ACCI: Director & Realtor, Red Door Realty

A well known realtor in Halifax for well over 30 years, Alex has been transitioning his International practice to also actively include Lunenburg.  He is known for the support and in-depth knowledge that today’s demanding business environment requires.  He has been awarded many of the industry's top awards, including his FRI (Fellow of the Real Estate Institute) that is Canada's pre-eminent real estate designation. Alex and his wife, Faune Creaser, a Foreign Protestant descendant, spend many hours restoring their historic 1897 Old Town Lunenburg home.

Kenneth S. Paulsen, Ph.D.: Director & Managing Genealogist & Historian

Kenneth S. Paulsen holds a doctorate in Canadian History from the University of Maine at Orono, with two Bachelors of Arts degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Arts degree from Northeastern University in Boston. He was a Fulbright scholar at St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a Canadian Embassy Graduate Fellow, and the 1992 Winthrop Pickard Bell Fellow in Canadiana at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.
